Guest Liaison and Reservations Co-Ordinator
We’re looking for a warm, hospitable and efficient individual to join our Reservations team. You will be the first point of contact for all of our guests, both new and returning, and will be able to adapt quickly in order to provide knowledge of the island and answers for any and all queries.

Salary: From £25,500 dependant on experience

Hours: 40-45 hours over 5 days per week, with weekend hours on a rotational basis
Contract Length: Permanent (Seasonal summer applicants will also be considered)
The Role
We’re seeking a warm, hospitable and efficient reservations co-ordinator to join our team in the Island Office, the hub for our guests and visitors to access island information and have their questions answered.
You’ll be responsible for answering email and telephone enquiries in a polite and friendly manner, as well as dealing with various queries in person at the front desk, including general information about the islands, and paying off bills.
You’ll provide prospective rental clients with island information and offer enticing accommodation options to them on Tresco, and in addition, change time-share owned weeks into time-share relets. The role will also require utilising hotel management and accounting packages, including making charges to guest cottage accounts for laundry, bike hire, buggy hire etc, and processing fuel transactions at the till.
General office duties will include processing and sorting incoming and outgoing Estate mail, updating and maintaining information display areas, organising and logging lost and found items, and filing.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Must have a polite and friendly manner
- Should have excellent customer service skills that can be evidenced
- Must have English fluency and the ability to converse easily with a wide range of people, both in writing and orally
- Will be self-motivated with a proven ability to work in an organised and efficient manner
- Should have ability to remain calm and professional in busy and high-pressure situations
- Must have ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software such as Outlook, Excel, Word and Access
- Previous experience and knowledge of Merlin software is desired
- Previous work experience in a reception or reservations environment is desired
- Knowledge of the islands and especially Tresco would be advantageous
