Department: Cottage Department
Reporting to: Housekeeping Manager
Salary: From £13.50 per hour, dependent on experience
Hours: Full Time, 5 or 6 days a week
Contract Length: Seasonal 6-12 months (dates can be flexible)
Duties Include
- Supervising and assisting in cleaning guest accommodation on the Island, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained at all times
- Training and supporting the housekeeping team, ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are being met
- Checking and reporting any maintenance issues to the Services Manager
- Maintaining cleaning equipment
- Providing excellent customer service when greeting and responding to guest queries
Our Ideal Candidate
- A perfectionist with a keen eye for detail
- Experienced in or have good knowledge of housekeeping
- Good at working efficiently as part of a team
- Willing to undergo any training provided to assist in the role
- Well-presented and maintain smart appearance (uniform is provided)
- Consistently hard-working, flexible and enthusiastic
- Competent at cycling efficiently between cottages
