The Cottage

With granite walls and a pretty, enclosed garden, School House is at once a welcoming spot for your island holiday. Inside, underfloor heating and hardwood floors downstairs compliment the airy bedrooms upstairs.

The lounge is inviting, with a log burner at the heart, and the kitchen is spacious enough to cook up a feast.

School House enjoys an additional ‘secret’ garden across the path from the property.

On the Doorstep

Lucy-Tania boutique is just across the road, and Green Porth beach is a few footsteps further. The Ruin Beach Cafe is approx. 5 minutes' walk from the property.

Facilities

Our cottages are well-equipped with a comprehensive inventory, which includes kitchen appliances and equipment, bathrobes, hair dryers, and an outdoor BBQ with tools. Bathrooms come complete with 100 Acres shampoo, body wash and hand soap.

This property comes equipped with a dishwasher. There is no washing machine at the property, however laundry facilities are available centrally with a small cost payable per load.

School House is as always lovely and we all feel instantly at home when we arrive. We love it as much as our real home.

The Location

Set alongside the island’s primary school and overlooking the church, School House occupies a quaint rural spot. Beautiful beaches are just steps from the property, and the Ruin Beach Cafe is mere minutes away.

Other island amenities are a short stroll or cycle away at New Grimsby, on the opposite side of the island.
