Racket Town is being completely rebuilt over the winter of 2024-5.
The new property will enjoy three bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room, as well as spacious outside areas.
New descriptions and imagery will be made available here as soon as possible. In the meantime, imagery and descriptions on this page are for the old property.
The Cottage
On entering the cottage, you’re immediately embraced by its homely feel. Cosy furnishings, whitewashed walls and a Fisher stove add to its traditional appearance. The lounge is spacious, and three large bedrooms are clustered together at the south-side of the property.
The cottage itself is easily missed from the road that passes by, so enveloped as it is in garden space and lush green plant-life.
The Location
Those in need of a tranquil, restorative break will love Racket Town due to its unique location. It’s the perfect starting point for leisurely meanders through Tresco’s winding woodland paths.
Although set apart from other cottages and buildings, it’s still under five minutes from Tresco Stores, the Island Office and the Flying Boat Café & Deli.

Our cottages are well-equipped with a comprehensive inventory, which includes kitchen appliances and equipment, bathrobes, hair dryers, and an outdoor BBQ with tools. Bathrooms come complete with 100 Acres shampoo, body wash and hand soap.
This property comes complete with a dishwasher and washing machine.
