The Two Island Break - Tresco
Stay for two nights at The New Inn on Tresco, just a stone’s throw from the harbour, where you’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast each morning. Many rooms offer stunning sea or countryside views, and downstairs, the Sleeper’s Lounge is the perfect spot to unwind with a book or board game. The Driftwood Bar and Pavilion Dining Room serve delicious pub fare with a Tresco twist.
Alternatively, opt for a Sea Garden Apartment on a self-catering basis – ideal for those seeking extra space and independence. These apartments are also dog-friendly during October, as is Hell Bay Hotel, so staying here, your four-legged companion can join the adventure.
Wherever you stay, you’ll have inclusive access to both the Island Spa and Tresco Abbey Garden, with the option to indulge in wood-fired dishes at the Ruin Beach Café or traditional pub favourites with a Tresco twist at The New Inn.
Spend your days strolling the island’s rugged coastline, exploring the Abbey Garden’s beautiful terraces, or unwinding with a soothing swim in the Island Spa.

The Two Island Break - Bryher
Next, transfer to the neighbouring island of Bryher – smaller, more rugged, and dramatically beautiful, home to the secluded oasis that is Hell Bay Hotel.
As the highest-rated hotel and restaurant on the islands, Hell Bay is renowned for its 3 AA Rosette restaurant, where Head Chef Richard and his team craft seasonal menus using the finest island produce. If you’re looking for something more relaxed, bar meals are also available, perfect before retreating to your suite or relaxing in the cosy Lookout Lounge.
Start your day with a Hell Bay breakfast, all while soaking in the tranquil views across the Great Pool. Explore the island’s varied coast path, enjoy long, leisurely lunches on the sheltered terrace in the autumn sunshine, or share a romantic moment on the sunset deck, wrapped in a blanket with a glass of something bubbly.
Please note that some island businesses on Bryher may have limited hours in October or be closed altogether. However, Hell Bay Hotel will be fully open, offering plenty of beautiful walks, beaches to discover, and boats to Tresco.
