Throughout March 2025, we're welcoming your four-legged friend along in a selection of our self-catering cottages overlooking the ocean.
Choose to stay in our beachfront Flying Boat Cottages at New Grimsby overlooking Tresco Channel and the neighbouring island of Bryher, or in our Sea Garden Apartments at Old Grimsby, with the uninhabited islands dotting the horizon.
With Tresco’s varied landscape, ample outdoor space and fresh island air, you will have an unforgettable stay together. Explore our beaches and coastal paths, stop off for lunch at our island pub and cosy up in your cottage to recuperate after the day’s excursions.
We’ll provide you with a pet hamper with bowls, a bed, towels and a map of the island outlining both on and off-lead adventures.

Our self-catering Sea Garden Apartments sleep up to two people plus two dogs from £394 per night or £2,541 per week.
Our larger, self-catering Flying Boat Cottages sleep up to ten people plus two dogs from £3,565 per week.

We do ask that Dog Parents take a look at our Canine Contract. This aims to strike a careful balance, allowing you and your furry friend the space to explore while carefully maintaining the islands’ peace and tranquillity and precious agricultural and natural environment for all.
Getting Here With Your Dog
Your dog can travel with you to Tresco using all three methods of travel - helicopter, plane, and sea.
BY HELICOPTER
Throughout March 2025, fly with Penzance Helicopters, and your canine companions travel free * - saving at least £70.
Your four-legged friend travels in a Sky Kennel crate in the main cabin, so you'll be beside them throughout the flight; there's full information on their website.

* One medium-sized or two small dogs flying within one dog crate (75cm long x 50cm wide x 53cm high). Larger dogs are subject to availability and a supplement.
BY PLANE & SEA
Dogs can also travel by plane with Skybus or by sea with Scillonian III, both arriving at St Mary's with a short boat transfer to Tresco.
