St Nicholas’ Refurbishment Continues…

The building works at St Nicholas' Church have come on apace. The repointing and roofing are pretty much done, as well as the replacement of rotten timbers and joists. The next big task is painting the walls inside the church. This is the first time that they will be decorated and it is hoped that the ivory paint that has been chosen will brighten the interior. Services should resume in Tresco's church by early February but there will be an official celebration of the re-opening of St Nicholas on Sunday 8th March.

Worship at Christmas will not be disrupted - on Christmas Eve the Tresco Carol Service will be held at 6pm in the Community Centre and Family Communion on Christmas Day will be at 11am, once again at the Community Centre.
