November Cottage Highlights
November on Tresco is a beautiful time of transition, as the magical light and tranquillity of late autumn give way to the first signs of an island winter...
If the day dawns bright, perhaps it's time for mindful meanders through rust-toned bracken and along peaceful woodland paths. Late autumn on Scilly is a little milder than the mainland - perfect for making the most of the unique quality of light as you stroll along a deserted shoreline as the sun sets.
On the other hand, you could witness one of the first Atlantic storms of the season - heralding the first signs of winter on the island. In that case, head for the wild north end; you'll feel the breakers against the cliffs before you see them. Wave watching desires satiated, head for a few lazy lengths in the spa, a warming hot chocolate at The Ruin, or back to your cottage to cosy up under a blanket in front of the log burner.
Find your perfect base to witness the tranquillity and transition of November on Tresco...
