New: The Phoenix & Providence Experience
One of the purest joys of a holiday on Tresco is a calming and soothing spa treatment – and what could be purer than a treatment drawn straight from Scilly’s crystal-clear waters?
A collaboration between our therapists and island-based organic seaweed skincare brand Phoenix & Providence has led to the creation of a new and exclusive treatment at Tresco Island Spa.
The Phoenix & Providence Experience is a 90-minute immersive face and body treatment that will help infuse a sense of mindfulness and calm whilst strengthening and soothing the skin.
The invigorating Sea Salt & Seaweed Scrub at the heart of the treatment is made from seaweed harvested by hand on the beaches of St Martin's, as well as SC Salt from the same crystal-clear waters. With these beautiful ingredients, the treatment is rich in vitamins and minerals that will leave you feeling restored, relaxed and re-energised.
Spa Manager Hannah, Therapist Magda and Phoenix & Providence founder Ella worked closely to develop the treatment, exclusively available at Tresco Island Spa.
Strengthening & Soothing
The experience starts with an invigorating Sea Salt & Seaweed Scrub using a new addition to the Phoenix & Providence range. The scrub is available exclusively as part of this treatment until its launch in autumn 2023.
The treatment continues with a deeply nourishing and relaxing full-body massage before a cleansing and rejuvenating facial with a seaweed-infused mud mask completes your experience.
Our only 90-minute spa treatment besides our Mother-to-Be therapy, The Phoenix & Providence Experience allows you the space and time to truly relax while the treatment and products soften your skin and soothe the mind.

About Phoenix & Providence
Born from the sea on the neighbouring island of St Martin’s, Phoenix & Providence is created by islander Ella MacLachlan.
It was soul-enriching sea swims in Scilly’s crystal-clear waters that inspired Ella to create a skincare collection handcrafted from - and inspired by - the ocean.
Soothing and restoring, each product is infused with seaweed foraged just a hundred yards from where the products are made.
The kelp is harvested with scissors to encourage regrowth, transported home in Ella’s trusty wheelbarrow, then infused in cold-pressed organic oils for a full lunar cycle.
Moisturising and detoxifying, plumping and hydrating, kelp is rich in antioxidants and essential vitamins that help promote collagen, improving skin tone, texture and elasticity.
A unique blend of minerals, along with the anti-inflammatory properties of seaweed, helps soothe and repair, making it the perfect ingredient for all skin types.
