March. A month for wellness
As spring returns, there is no better time to celebrate our surroundings, relax, restore and soak up the longer days and blooming buds
This March will see our inaugural Festival of Wellness and it couldn't come at a better time. March is a beautiful month, with blooming buds, longer days and a sense of anticipation for the busy season ahead. After the dramatic winter, seeing Tresco gradually launch back into life is a delight, and this year it will be extra special.
As any regular visitors will know, Tresco lends itself perfectly to wellness. Here, we are surrounded by the elements, are guided by the rhythm of the tides and are part of a landscape that is simultaneously dramatic and peaceful. This March, the Festival of Wellness will offer a wonderful programme of events, in turn showcasing how we can benefit from nature and find tranquillity in our busy world. There is so much in store and it will be a week to remember, hopefully paving the way for an incredible annual event.
Local experts and guides will be at the forefront of the festival, showcasing the rich diversity that this archipelago has to offer. From yogic practices and trail running adventures to seaweed secrets, cold-water immersion and foraging, there is something for everyone. In fact, the range of what's on offer highlights just how wellness is for everyone. We want everyone from seasoned wellness enthusiasts to fitness and yoga novices to get involved in one way or another.
But don't just take our word for it, hear from the experts themselves...

Some time out from the normality of life can make your journey of rediscovery on the mat all the more meaningful'

'Tresco is special and my space at the Abbey Garden is special too. It’s not just a productive garden - it’s a sanctuary for people. It’s certainly a sanctuary for me. It is a place that lends itself to healing.'
With fresh and crisp specials on at the eateries, a brilliant menu of treatments available at Tresco Island Spa, and a range of spectacular accommodation to choose from, it is not an event you will want to miss.
Bring all the family along and make the festival of wellness a reason to reunite with loved ones or book a stay for one and have a long weekend dedicated to peace, restoration and complete and utter relaxation.
