Lucy-Tania opens! Tresco’s new pop-up shop…
London, Paris, Milan...Tresco? You’ll be pleased to hear that if you’re visiting Tresco this summer you’ll be able to indulge in a spot of retail in our new pop-up shop, Lucy-Tania, situated at Old Grimsby and decorated in colourful bunting.
What was the island’s Interiors studio now hosts rails of beautiful clothes and other stylish treats. With freshly-made macaroons, coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere, Lucy-Tania is a retail experience with a Tresco twist. The shop will be showcasing various designers throughout the summer. Eleanor Dorrien-Smith’s collection, Partimi, combines luxurious fabrics with Abbey Gardens-inspired prints. For a taster, have a look at the Tresco Times 2014 Yearbook (pages 14 - 15). Eleanor, Robert Dorrien Smith’s niece, has always drawn valuable inspiration from Tresco visits, and is now an up-and-coming fashion designer based in London.
Lucy-Tania also stocks a great beachwear range by LottyB, based on the Caribbean island of Mustique. With colourful printed kaftans for the girls and vibrant, on-trend shorts for the guys, this brand has a laid-back vibe that needs only be accessorised with a sunhat and a Ruin Beach Cafe cocktail.
If it’s evening wear you need, check out Bellaju – silk and velvet smocks, perfect for dinner at the Flying Boat Club or a drinks do with friends. Plus for that extra something special, the shop will also play host to a range of jewellery by Catherine Zoraida, whose intricate gold and silver designs have become very popular with the Duchess of Cambridge.
Our interiors team are working onsite creating lovely Tresco-themed cushions, bunting, bags, scrunchies and other little trinkets which make perfect gifts or special souvenirs of your visit. Open throughout July and August, drop in to Lucy-Tania for that extra bit of holiday indulgence.
