It's Fete Season!
Thank you to all who came to Tresco Fete yesterday. What a fantastic day in the sunshine!
It was a wonderful day for Tresco Fete yesterday. What with wall to wall sunshine, an amazing mixture of stalls, and fantastic turn out, it was one of our best yet!
Thank you to the community centre committee for putting such a great day together and for all who came along. From local charities like the Wildlife Trust, to the Tresco fire team and the gig club, it was great to see so many faces. The Harry Peanut Show were back for another afternoon of great tunes - complete with brass! - and they had everyone on their feet once more.
Thank you to the island makers for dropping by and a HUGE cheer for all the volunteers who were on the lucky dip, splat the rat, face paint and more all afternoon!
Over £8000 was raised for the community centre - a building that is vital to our island population and an integral part of life on Tresco.
