Have yourself a Tresco summer

Gather your loved ones, pack a suitcase and hop on the Scillonian or jump in a helicopter to Tresco for a holiday like no other. Whether you'd like a laid back July or a family friendly August, Tresco is the perfect summer location. Keep on reading for more in the way of beautiful cottages, exquisite beaches and ways to spend a summer day on our very special island.

From regular fixtures like grill nights at The New Inn and weekly gig race spectator boats, to unique experiences like theatre in the gardens and the island summer fetes, there is so much to get stuck into this July.

On Monday 1st July, you can dive into the life of Audrey Hepburn with The Essence of Audrey at the Flying Boat Studio; you can then head to Gallery Tresco on Wednesday 10th July at 6pm for A Patchwork of Paintings - an art raffle with a difference.

We will have a talk from longstanding island sharer on his latest book regarding Marines in Russia, and the Abbey Garden will be open after hours once again for a G&T with a difference.

There will be outdoor theatre on the Sea Garden Lawn in the form of Love Riot on Thursday 25th July and the island summer fetes are back of course with Tresco fete on Sunday 28th.

Into August, there is still plenty going on with even more on the way! As well as beaching, swimming and alfresco dining, there is outdoor theatre at the gardens on Sunday 11th August as the festival players return with Shakespeare's The Tempest.

The first ever Ocean Scilly festival is coming to the islands and with it some fantastic events. Join Richard Larne OBE in the gardens on 27th August for a deep dive into the Wrecks of Scilly, find your favourite beach and capture the sea for an ocean-themed Paint the Day, and join us for a Paddle & Pizza on 31st August.
