Giving Back: Christmas Jumper Day
Every year, the islanders don their best Christmas jumpers and gather together in Smith Square to raise money for charity. It is a Tresco tradition we cherish
In order to raise money for Save the Children, each year we all wear our loudest Christmas Jumpers and gather in Smith Square. It is a wonderful Tresco tradition and we look forward to it every December. This year was no different and everyone turned up in their Christmas best. From Lalesca's hand-knitted crochet cardigan to baby Maeve's Christmas pudding outfit; between Skipper the Spaniels' bow and Inca the Terriers' tinsel, it was a great success.
Thank you to all the islanders who baked so that we could raise funds via a cake sale! £110 was raised for Save the Children - although donations are still poring in and if you'd like to contribute too, you can follow the link below...
