The pub is set to be full of life with music from The Pie Trio and an eclectic mix of musicians courtesy of The Scilly Folk Festival. What’s more, island yogi Gem Hansen will be offering weekly yoga in the Abbey Gardens, the makers are back for a couple of markets and evening boats between Tresco and Bryher are up and running.
Heron
With stunning views of the pool, reeds and bird life, Heron is the perfect May escape. As the sun sets over the water, head to a nearby bird hide to watch for golden herons, swans and ever changing – and sometimes surprising – migratory birds.
