Garden Flowers at the Abbey
Freshly-cut from the Abbey Garden and arranged by gardener Emma Bagnall-Oakeley in Tresco Abbey on 29th April 2014, this floral display give a hint of what's currently in bloom.
Lucy Dorrien-Smith writes: We thought you might like to see photos of flower arrangements at Tresco Abbey throughout the year. It will show you what we have in flower in our garden and the names of the flowers and foliage for your information. We arrange flowers at Tresco Abbey in a very loose and natural way, rather than a formal way, as though the whole vase was an impressionist oil painting of a bunch of flowers you may have collected out walking on Tresco. We have a mixture of exotic & sub-tropical Abbey Garden flowers mixed with wild flowers & all kinds of foliage.
We hope you enjoy our flower photos.
