Westward Farm Scilly Rose Geranium Gin
Description
Westward Farm has been growing and distilling rose geranium for it's essential oil for many years - the Hicks family has always loved this aromatic and for some time wanted to use it in a gin.
The geranium is extracted as a single botanical, then blended with the 'standard' Scilly gin in a perfect marriage of juniper and geranium.
A warm floral spirit that really showcases the beauty of rose geranium. We love this gin straight up with a wedge of lime, on the rocks..... or on the beach in the sunshine. It equally holds it's own in a G&T.
About Westward Farm
Island-based producers, the Hicks family of Westward Farm, have been farming on St. Agnes for centuries. Nowadays, the family has turned its industry and innovation to a host of carefully crafted island produce.
Amongst their ventures is a tiny distillery, based on the farm and producing very special small batch gins. These gins feature botanicals grown on the farm, and very occasionally sourced from elsewhere on the islands, as is the case with the Tresco Abbey Garden gin.
Alongside the distillery, Westward Farm is also the home to the ’28 miles’ range of Scilly soap and toiletries, and a delicious range of apple juice and cyder made using home-grown apples.
