Katrina Wilkie

As a landscape painter who loves colour and shape, Tresco offers me a feast of subjects. A walk around the island produces potential views from which to work at every turn. The initial inspiration might come from the colour of the sea, the curve of the beach, the exotic shapes of the plants and trees, or the craggy forms of the rocks and islets. Through painting, I hope to express some of the magic of Tresco to the viewer.
