Christmas Eve - Last-minute shopping at Tresco Stores
09:30 - 1pm
Tresco Stores will be open for a few hours on Christmas Eve - perfect for last-minute Christmas purchases (and there's usually a few nibbles and a glass of something bubbly to get you in the Christmas spirit!)
The shelves will be brimming with delicious Christmas treats, from tasty cheeses, pâtés and olives for an indulgent Boxing Day platter to smoked salmon, freshly baked croissants and a couple of bottles of fizz for Christmas morning.

Mulled wine from 4pm, Carols from 4:30pm
Don your Christmas jumpers, round up all the family and join the Tresco choir in singing all the classics. Everyone is welcome to take part in an informal Christmas sing song or simply sit back and listen with a glass of mulled wine in hand...
With chestnuts roasting and mulled wine being served at the bar, this is sure to be a festive delight.

Christmas Day
Christmas Sea Swim - Raven's Porth
10am
Islander and keen sea swimmer Lorna will be wading into the shallows at Raven's Porth, just in front of the Ruin Beach Café for her Christmas Day sea swim.
This isn't an organised event, but Lorna would love to see any other keen Christmas Day swimmers there - or you can always watch on the webcam from the warmth of your cottage!

Christmas Day - Festive Drinks at The New Inn

The New Inn opens on Christmas Day as guests and locals gather to raise a glass together and exchange Christmas greetings.

Let someone else take care of the cooking on the big day with Christmas Lunch at The New Inn - a Tresco twist on a traditional feast. New Year's Eve - Gallery Tresco drinks

Join us for a tipple at our island gallery right on the waterfront at New Grimsby. Browse for tempting, island-inspired art whilst indulging on festive delights.

New Year's Eve - New Year's Eve Party at The New Inn
Dinner from 6 - 8pm | Music from 9pm
Head to The New Inn to welcome in 2025. The fancy dress theme is Famous Duos, so whether you feel like salt and pepper or Barbie and Ken, be sure to dress up and come down to the island pub to celebrate another year on Tresco. With live music from Izzy Drake, it is not one to miss.
The New Inn will be open as usual for lunch, dinner and drinks throughout the day

New Year's Day - Sea swim at Raven's Porth

Whether it's refuelling after a New Year's Day walk, sea swim, or simply shaking off that fuzzy feeling from the night before, The New Inn will be serving Brunch from 12 - 2pm on New Year's Day.
Dinner will be served from 6 - 8pm as usual.
