By Road & Rail
If you're travelling from across the UK, Penzance Helicopters provides the fastest and easiest connection to the islands by road and rail. Once you reach Penzance, Tresco Island is just a 15-minute direct flight away.
By car, Penzance is around 5 hours' drive from London and the heliport sits right beside the A30, with a spacious on-site car park.
By rail, Great Western Railway provides a direct service from London to Penzance, including the Night Riviera sleeper service. Other train services operate directly from the Midlands, the north of England and Scotland. The heliport is just a couple of minutes from Penzance railway station by electric shuttle bus.
From Penzance, you can also choose to take the Scillonian ferry to the islands (approximately two and a half hours) or Skybus flights from Land's End Airport, around a 20-minute drive further on.
By Air
Whether from the UK or abroad, it's also simple to connect to the Isles of Scilly by air. Skybus operates flights to the Isles of Scilly from Newquay Airport (year-round) and Exeter Airport (summer only), both of which offer a variety of UK and European connections.

The onward flight to the Isles of Scilly with Skybus takes approximately 30 minutes from Newquay and an hour from Exeter. From landing on the main island of St Mary's, a short minibus and boat transfer will take you to Tresco.
