The Garden Visitor Centre is the entrance to the Abbey Gardens. It contains the Garden Cafe, Shop and the History Room, all of which can be accessed without entering the Garden itself.
The Tresco Abbey Garden licensed cafe sits in the centre of our beautiful Mediterranean courtyard and provides a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We have comfortable indoor seating, and outdoor seating in our sheltered garden where you can sit and enjoy watching the red squirrels at their feeding stations.
Enjoy a morning coffee, or choose from our wide selection of teas served with delicious freshly baked scones for your cream tea in the afternoon.
Our kitchen uses locally sourced foods and fresh vegetables, salads and fruits picked from our very own Tresco Abbey Garden, to create a seasonally varying lunch menu. The choice of freshly prepared light lunches includes fresh homemade vegetarian soup, a selection of sandwiches including cornish ham and local crab, homemade quiches, smoked mackerel pate, ploughman’s lunch served with a selection of cornish cheeses, local chutney, and crisp salad from our garden.
A large selection of gluten free foods including bread, soup and cakes is readily available.
